Spring Singapore warns about safety risks of children's clothing with cords and drawstrings

Mummies and Daddies!

I am sure many of us are culprits of buying clothes because they are SUPER CUTE and PRETTY on our children.

However, SPRING Singapore has warned that some of these clothing with cords and drawstrings can post risk of strangulation and entrapment. They have picked samples of children’s clothing from major and small retailers across Singapore and sent them for testing and 28 out 110 pieces did not meet safety requirements.

While there is no local reports of incidents involving cords and drawstrings in children’s clothing in Singapore, we should be careful when choosing our children's clothes.

Mummies and Daddies can find the latest safety alerts, advisories and tips atwww.spring.gov.sg/productsafety. You may also contact SPRING at 1800 773 3163 or email: safety@spring.gov.sg to report unsafe products or make enquiries.

I am sure safety is more important than anything else.
Hope this helps!

Love,
Mummy Kaye
